Selena Gomez's semicolon tattoo on her wrist recently caught my eye, leading me to look into a simple design that has spun into a growing movement deeply rooted in mental health awareness. According to Project Semicolon, a nonprofit dedicated to offering hope, love and recognition of mental health awareness such as depression, anxiety, addiction, and self harm, "The semicolon represents a sentence the author could have ended but chose not to." In other words, pause and reflect on how much more there is to look forward to in life.
I wanted to help bring more awareness to mental health by making this design a part of the Bold Spirit Collection; my way of pausing and acknowledging mental health awareness. My pendant is an option for those who may not want a tattoo (Or want both!) but want to be a part of this growing movement offering love and hope.
